Rummel is a beautiful lake in a tranquil setting. It is similar to Chester Lake but not as busy. It offers great views of Spray Lake along the way.

- Snowshoes (Rentals are available, if required, at MEC and UofC Outdoor Centre
- Poles
- Layered clothing
- Proper or extra gloves/mitts

How to Get There:

Event Directions:

Take Hwy 1 west out of town. Go south on Hwy 40 for approx 56km. Turn right onto the Kananaskis Lakes Trail just before the winter gate. Turn north (right) onto the Smith-Dorrien Trail (gravel road). Park at the turn-off for Engadine Lodge.
