Come out and enjoy this nice sunny day.The route for this hike is well traveled & the climb is steep, though this is well worth the effort. The view from the top is spectacular; Calgary to the east, Moose Mountain to the north and Banded Peak and Powderface Ridge to the west.

+++ PLS NOTE: At this time of year icers/micro-spikes are required; you never know what you will encounter. No icers = no hike -- sorry.+++

TIP for NW members: If you live in the NW, probably a good idea to meet directly at the trailhead.

PACE: Please note that this is not a speed demon's hike(getting to the top in record time) nor is it for very slowpokes, we will be hiking at a Relaxed Pace. If you're not sure about a hike, feel free to contact the coordinator and remember to always hike within your ability in order to be able to keep up with the group. If you have not hiked before or recently hiked with 500M+, this hike is not for you.
