Itinerary:
We will park and meet in the Rosemont Community Centre/Confederation Park parking lot which is on the west side of 10th St NW between 24 Ave and Rosehill Drive. Please see map here.

We will walk for about an hour and a half and cover about 4 km. We will head west to the Lion's Club Christmas light display in the Confederation Park Golf course which is on the west side of 14th St NW. The paved path through Confederation Park to the Golf course is usually cleared by the City, but you may want to bring ice cleats.

Once at the Golf course, we will walk through the light display. The snow will be deeper here than the path, please wear appropriate boots. The snow can be packed and slippery so you may need ice cleats here too. We will be careful not to walk on the cross country ski trails.

Click here for more information on The Lion's Festival of Lights.

Once back at the parking lot, if time still permits, we will cross to the east side of 10th Street and explore some of Confederation Park on the east side.
