Itinerary:
We will be xc-skiing at a slow to moderate pace. Not a Fast pace! This event is geared for beginners or those wanting to get back into cross country skiing. It is not for absolute beginners, you must be comfortable haring boning up and skiing down on small hills. If you are on Steroids or a speed demon, please choose another event.

The Nordic Centre is a world class facility groomed for skate and classic skiing. We will ski approximately 4 hours. We will regroup in the Nordic Centre Lodge before starting.

We will begin skiing on the Banff trail and then explore a mix of intermediate trails occasionally crossing the easy green ones (exact route to be determined on the day) and ski about 15 kms. We will maintain a slow to moderate pace. Great practice for rolling hills while having FUN. You will get a cardio workout (good for your heart!).

After a few hours we will go back to the Lodge to be refreshed. The Nordic Centre Lodge is a great place to hang out with food concession, comfortable tables and a nice fireplace.
