Itinerary:
Is it okay to call 28.2kms of skiing a long day?

The most I’ve done is ~20km for a day so this will be an interesting challenge.

Not everyone has to ski the full distance. However, we will all stay on the same trail (Pocaterra then Tyrrwhit up to Elk Pass/Hydro junction and come back the same way). Since the trail is mostly uphill going to Elk Pass, we will set turnaround time at 3hrs. So exactly 3hrs from the time you started from Pocaterra Hut, you must turn around and start skiing back.

Everyone will be expected back at Pocaterra hut by 3pm. No exceptions.

This is based on $0.16/Km for maintenance, plus current gas price divide by 9. Alternately your carpool driver may choose to split the maintenance cost plus the actual gas cost among all in the vehicle.
