Current snow depth at is 158 cm.

This trip is intended for all levels of skiers and boarders.

We'll do one or two warmup runs together, and then break off into similar-ability groups for the rest of the day.

Make sure you know where the Petro-Canada car pool location is and where to park.Leaving car pool location at 6:00 Sharp Please arrive 5 mins early (not too early please). DO NOT be late. If you are going to be late, call Noel at 403-618- 8865 so that we can make arrangement to wait/not wait for you.

We will meet at the main lodge 2nd floor at 9 AM, by the microwave

We'll have lunch at 12:30 pm. You don't have to be with the group for lunch. You may continue skiing or have lunch somewhere else.

At the end of the day, we are gathering up at the main lodge 2nd floor again, and will leave the hill at 4:30 pm.

Approximate vehicle expense for this event is $150.00 (calculated at total Km * $0.30, effective Tuesday, April 16, 2024). This is based on $0.16/Km for maintenance, plus current gas price divide by 9. Alternately your carpool driver may choose to split the maintenance cost plus the actual gas cost among all in the vehicle. Your carpool driver will confirm exactly how much money they require to cover costs. Please split the actual cost among all people in the vehicle.

Terrain Classification: This event is exempt from avalanche planning because we will be skiing at a ski resort. No out of bounds skiing allowed.
Note that COC event coordinators are volunteers and are not trained guides. All participants are responsible for assessing the current road conditions, current weather conditions, current trail conditions and current avalanche conditions for the trip.

Skiing/Snowboarding activities have inherent risks involved.
Rental packages now include helmets.
