Come and join us.

It's a very steep "up" however you get wonderful views at the top. There's a long ridge, ready for us to explore. Can be a challenging hike so you must be comfortable with little scrambly part, walking on slabs/narrow ridge.

Exshaw Ridge lies between Mount Fable to the west and Loder Peak to the east. From the top the scenery will be quite magnificent. Heart Mountain will be visible across the Bow Valley to the south, while other landmarks will include Mt. Lougheed, the Mythic Towers and Goat Mountain.

We will be hiking at a RELAXED pace (slow going up and moderate on flat). If you do not want to stay with the group at this pace, please find another hike. If you're not sure about a hike, feel free to contact the coordinator and remember to always hike within your ability in order to be able to keep up with the group. If you have not recently hiked this year 500M+, this hike is not for you.

This hike is not recommended for members who have not yet hiked this year with similar elevation. PLS remember that hiking in the winter is a lot harder than in the summer.

PLS NOTE:
. Do not be in a rush to get back to Calgary -- return time may vary. We are out to enjoy the day and explore. Pls note that your coordinator has not done this one. Route finding might be required.
