Itinerary:
- Distance :~10.3KM loop
- Elevation gain : ~-500M - 570M(up / downs)
- Proper hiking footwear(NO runners)- No jeans/sweatpants..

Out destination: Razor's Edge trail and McConnell Ridge. McConnell Ridge stretches between Yates Mountain (Barrier Lake Fire Lookout) and Biffy Peak .

While the distance and elevation gain are not impressive it is a technical hike with few steep slopes, some big slabs and a bit of off trail hiking. The group will hike a clockwise loop: up the Razor's Edge, back via Quaite Valley.

We will be hiking at a RELAXED pace (slow going up and moderate on flat). If you do not want to stay with the group at this pace, please find another hike. If you're not sure about a hike, feel free to contact the coordinator and remember to always hike within your ability in order to be able to keep up with the group. If you have not recently hiked this year 450M, this hike is not for you.

PLS NOTE:
. Do not be in a rush to get back to Calgary -- return time may vary. We are out to enjoy the day and explore. Pls note that your coordinator has not done this one.
