+++DRIVERS ARE NEEDED+++

The Cat Creek Hills are a series of connected rolling ridges located in the Highwood Valley area of Kananaskis with great views.

The route, up and down, includes official trails, unofficial trails, some well defined trails.

Somewhere between the beginning of the trail to the end of the trail is the "mystery." Come prepared to explore.

Please note that this is not a speed demon's hike(getting to the top in record time) nor is it for very slowpokes. We will be hiking at a slow, steady pace on steeper terrain and a moderate pace on gentler grades and going down. If you do not want to maintain this pace, pls do not sign up. IF you have not recently hiked with 550M+, this hike is not for you.

IF you have no recent COC hiking history pls email me with your recent hiking history.

Please be confident in your ability to cover the stated distance and elevation, since we are not turning back.++++

******* Note that COC event coordinators are volunteers and are NOT trained guides. All participants are responsible for their OWN safety and equipment. One should come prepared .*******

We are out to enjoy the day-do not be in a rush to get back to Calgary-return time may vary. Coordinator has never hiked this area.)
