Itinerary:
Learn practical and effective sea kayak rescue skills in this pool class. No experience necessary. They will teach and practice the use of paddle floats, self rescue and sling- assisted rescue skills. This course is useful for all who are interested in kayaking and especially for those wishing to participate in extended COC kayak trips.

You need to self-book your spot with the UofC. LIMITED SPOTS available To reserve a spot book online at Outdoor Centre. Cost of this course is $60.00 (you pay the UofC when you book your spot). Sign up here only AFTER you've confirmed your spot with the UofC.

Meet at 6:45pm at the U of C pool, in the Kinesiology Complex. Session ends at 8:30pm

- a bathing suit
- a towel
