PLEASE NOTE: Please ensure you have proper winter attire. Forecast max is -15C for Saturday

We'll first hike 3.2km on the Grass Pass Trail along an old exploration road. The ascent is fairly gradual (425m) up to Grass Pass. At the pass we'll head eastward and upwards into the Bull Creek Hills. The Bull Creek summit is an additional 2.5km (265 m), with 1km of ridge walking. From the Bull Creek summit we'll have wonderful views of Mt. Head and Holy Cross Mountain.

We will return the same way as we came up

Please note that this is not a speed demon's hike (getting to the top in record time). We will be hiking at a moderate pace on flat areas and at a slower pace on steeper terrain going up. If you're used to "slowpoke- paced hikes" then this hike is not for you. Please remember that it's a lot harder to hike in snow/winter conditions than summer conditions.

Plan: Hike along Grass Pass Trail and up to Bull Creek summit as per Gemtrek Map.
Note that COC event coordinators are volunteers and are not trained guides. All participants are responsible for assessing the current road conditions, current weather conditions, current trail conditions and current avalanche conditions for the trip.
