EVERYONE WILL HIKE PRAIRIE MTN AT THEIR OWN PACE. WE WILL STAY AS A GROUP FOR POWDERFACE.

There are no avalanche hazards on the main trails. However, it can be very slippery. We will also hike in the dark. Microspikes will be MANDATORY. As will be headlamps. Anyone without microspikes or headlamps will not be permitted to join the group.

I HIGHLY RECOMMEND bringing snowshoes for Powderface. The going will be a lot easier as the snow may not be packed.

I WILL MAKE HOT CHOCOLATE AND HAVE COOKIES FOR EVERYONE AT THE END OF THE HIKE!

Those signed up for my backcountry events are encouraged to join this event.
