Itinerary:
Starting at the Peter Lougheed Info Center, we will do a 10-14km tour on the easy and intermediate trails around Peter Lougheed. Route TBA, but we'll hopefully do a loop going up Lynx trail and down Packers trail for lots of hilly fun! Easier options are available for beginners and the hill-adverse! Don't be afraid to sign up - we'll figure out something fun for everyone.

After we ski, we'll have lunch at the Info Center. They have a microwave for our use if you want to bring something to nuke.

We will be leaving at 9:00 sharp. If you need rentals, be sure to pick them up the night before.

How to Get There:
Event Directions:Take Hwy 1 west out of town to Hwy 40. Go south on Hwy 40 for approx 56km. Turn right just before the winter gate. The Peter Lougheed Visitor Centre is a few km down the Kananaskis Lakes Trail. See Peter Lougheed Map.

Carpool Cost: Approximate vehicle expense for this event is $52.80 (calculated at total Km * $0.22, effective Tuesday, October 17, 2017). This is based on $0.12/Km for maintenance, plus current gas price divide by 9. Alternately your carpool driver may choose to split the maintenance cost plus the actual gas cost among all in the vehicle. Your carpool driver will confirm exactly how much money they require to cover costs. Please split the actual cost among all people in the vehicle.

Terrain Classification: This event is exempted from avalanche planning because it stays on groomed cross-country trails.
