Avg Pace: ~5 Km/hr

This event is for slow/moderate pace for high novice/low intermediate level skiers.

Park at Great Divide trailhead, ski 700 metres, and turn right at the #8 Lower Telemark trail sign. After 4.0 km of twists and turns, exit back onto the Great Divide trail, ski to the BC border and back. Finish with Peyto Trail and back to parking lot

How to Get There:
Event Directions:Take Hwy 1 to the Lake Louise turnoff. Turn left, across the highway overpass and follow the signs to the Chateau Lake Louise. Approximately half way up the hill from the townsite to Lake Louise, turn left to the Moraine Lake Road parking lot.

Carpool Cost: Approximate vehicle expense for this event is $78.10 (calculated at total Km * $0.22, effective Monday, February 20, 2017). This is based on $0.12/Km for maintenance, plus current gas price divide by 9. Alternately your carpool driver may choose to split the maintenance cost plus the actual gas cost among all in the vehicle.
