Moose Meadows to Ink Pots
Starting out at the Moose Meadows parking lot, we will wind our way up through the forest to the Ink Pots. The Ink Pots are the outlets of seven cold mineral springs, fed by rainwater and snow melt that has percolated into the surrounding bedrock. Two of the springs run murky due to the sediments disturbed by the rising water - hence the name Ink Pots.

Ink Pots to Johnston Canyon Upper Falls to see ice climbers.

We will be returning the same way we came.

PACE: Relaxed pace when doing the uphill portions and moderate for the balance. If you are a speed demon please sign up for another hike.

Pls do not be a rush to get back to Calgary-event time may vary.

Note that COC event coordinators are volunteers and are NOT trained guides. All participants are responsible for their OWN safety and equipment.
