Itinerary:
The COC Executive has decided to ramp up our presence on meetup.com as a means to have a more accessible platform for new and existing members and an easier-to-use website for our volunteers. Meetup.com offers many advantages over our current platform that will enable you to attract participants to your events.

In addition, we will be maintaining our existing platform for as long as it remains active and useful for our members.

1. You will be able to promote your event on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram at a touch of a button. You will be able to send invitations to specific people in your address book in your e-mail or on your phone.

2. You will be able to see the list of events a member participates in, not only on the COC Meetup, but on ALL Meetup groups. This will better enable you to better gauge the skill level of your participants.

3. Your events will promoted to all users of meetup.com who have expressed an interest in outdoor activities.

We realize that doing something new involves some discomfort and we, the Executive, are committed to running regular monthly training sessions to bring you up to speed.
