Elevation loss to the junction of Cox Hill ~240m

We'll start our hike from the Jumpingpound Summit trailhead and climb 2.5 km to join the Jumpingpound ridge trail. From there it is a short hop to the Jumpingpount Mountain summit. We'll then head north along the Jumpingpound ridge trail until we reach the Cox Hill connector. From there it's a scenic 3.1 km hike to the top of Cox Hill. We'll return the way we came climbing back another 240m to the top of Jumpingpound Mountain and then descending to find the cars.

How to Get There:
Event Directions:Drive west on Hwy 1 from Calgary and take the Sibbald Creek Trail (Hwy 68) turnoff. At the Powderface Trail junction turn left and drive south 18 kms to the Jumpingpound Summit Trailhead.

Carpool Cost: Approximate vehicle expense for this event is $57.00 (calculated at total Km * $0.30, effective Friday, April 19, 2024).
