Lets Celebrate Canada 150 from the top of a mountain with some of the best views in the Rockies! PLEASE NOTE THE EARLY DEPARTURE (we need to get there early to avoid the Lake Louise mobs) Fairview Mountain is a popular easy scramble in the Lake Louise area. From the summit one can see Mt. St-Piran, Niblock, Whyte, Victoria, Temple, and a kilometer below lies Lake Louise. This event is suited for strong hikers only.


Required Items to Bring:
- sturdy hiking boots
- clothing for variable weather conditions (no cotton)
Traction aids (there will be lingering snow)
- plenty of water and food
- plastic bag for muddy boots

How to Get There:
Event Directions:Drive west along Highway 1 (Trans-Canada Highway). Enter Banff National Park, then take the Lake Louise turn-off and head south. Park at the Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise upper parking lot, then take the small path towards the lakeshore. You should see Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise on your right hand side. Our group will meet at the SE point of the lake, by the boat house.
