Pace: Relaxed pace(If your pace is "Fast" OR "Rapid Ascent" kindly pls sign up for another event). The pace will be Slower on steep sections, moderate otherwise. I like to stop and take photos and enjoy the scenery.

Proper hiking footwear, sorry no runners/sandals/golf shoes or jeans.

It is listed as a +scramble+ but mostly is an ++Off-Trail Hike++. Arethusa is a small summit/ridge to the southwest of Mt Arethusa. There may be some narrow bits near the top.

I am not a guide. Please prepare for the trip as you were doing it on your own.

This is an exploratory event(your coordinator has never done this one before) = out to enjoy the day = if you have something planned for the evening, kindly pls do not sign up since we will not be in a rush to get back to Calgary.

Required Items to Bring:
-Proper hiking footwear and PACK (ensure your PACK is big enough to include extras -- a small Bike pack that only fits your hydration water system and small lunch is TOO SMALL...one should always be ready for the unexpected)

-Plastic bag to put muddy/dirty boots in.
-Lunch
-Dress in layers
-Mittens, toque (yes even in August -- mountain weather is unpredictable)
-First-aid kit(do not rely on coordinator)
-Bear spray and/or air horn and/or whistle - NO BEAR BELLS
-Change to pay your driver.
