On this hike you will see where the Bow River in Calgary originates. Although listed as a scramble, Bow Peak is mostly a very steep off-trail hike. If you enjoy easy scrambles with excellent views, this trip is sure to leave you satisfied.

Please Note: There will be a creek crossing on this hike. All participants must bring creek crossing footwear (Highly recommend: Neoprene Socks) with crocs, sandals, or watershoes. The mountain seems generally dry based on (zoom earth) has 'speckles' of snow. Be on safe side bring icers / microspikes. We'll be going at a slow but steady pace. You are expected to have hiked/scrambled the distance and the elevation in the past 2 months.

The coordinator has not done this trip before so route finding might be possible.
Please check the event for a possible last minute update.
