We will do ~20 km of mountain biking (off-road) in possibly muddy, snowy, technical conditions There is good riding and close picnic facilities here, we'll do the ride in Glenmore Park, including a lap around the lake with as much off path trails as we can find.

Please bring a portable BBQ set up if you have one.Bring something to cook and also something to share with others. Bring some firewood for the pit if you have some.

Also bring something to sit on!

Note: although novice riders are welcome you must have some mountain biking experience and have a real mountain Walmart specials!

Required Items to Bring:
- A mountain bike or fat bike
- Bike Helmet - Mandatory !
- a thin toque or balaclava (A Ski Helmet also works well for this event).
- Good lights-at least 10 watts or 500 lumens along with batteries good for 2+ hours.
- Rear light
- spare flashlight at least so you're not totally in the dark if there is a problem with your main light.
- Warm clothes, in layers, as for XC skiing (cycling and skiing generate similar amounts of body heat).
- Backpack with water or warm drink in a bottle, snacks, dry socks and extra clothing layers.

How to Get There:
Event Directions:North Glenmore Park - parking lot at 37 St / 66 Ave SW (Weaselhead Natural Area Parking), We'll move over to the nearest picnic area when back from the ride.
