We will start at Elk Lakes parking area, after ascending and descending the first hill, we will climb steeply up to the Hydroline and continue to Elk Pass where we will have lunch. We will return via the Elk Lakes pass trail.

Most of the trail is easy or moderate; however their are a couple of short steeper parts. You should be comfortable to "herring-bone" up the steep ascent to the Hydro-line. We will take our time on the steeper descents. Since we are setting a leisurely pace, walking down the steepest sections is an option.

If you are looking for a fast paced work out, this event will not be for you. We will be sticking together, and won't have time to ascend Blueberry Hill.

If you have any questions, please contact me before the event.

Trail conditions: Trail Report
Report at 01-Dec, 3:50PM MST

Nov.30: Elkpass, Blueberry, Hydroline and Paterson all groomed and track set in good early season condition. Lookout and Tyrwhitt were groomed in a single pass with no track set and some of the steeper sections on the south side of lookout just being track packed. Expect to encounter uneven terrain, protruding sticks, open creeks, exposed rocks and more.
