A fabulous weekend getaway in the picturesque scenery of Golden BC. We'll go snowshoeing in Yoho National Park, meander in and around Golden and check out some local festivals. Eat, be merry and sleep. We'll be staying in a nice motel, co-ed rooms, but we'll need to share double beds. Nice warm showers. I hear there is a hot tub...
Be prepared to spend 3-5 hours or more outside for snowshoeing activities with adequate clothing. You should be able to tackle the outdoors with snowshoes, coffee and sandwiches in hand. Our pace will be moderate with lots of stops for photo taking. Attendees are expected to stick with the group's plans.

1) Payment is due immediately upon registration for the event.
Email transfer to me at
No refunds if a suitable replacement cannot be found.
2) We will be going regardless of weather conditions. I'll need enough drivers to make this work . However we have snowshoes, we can walk there if needed (might need a bit more than 2 days...)
3) This is a co-ed bunking event in a motel. Beats being in a tent (though I think we're in an outdoor club). There is a quiet time at night but still bring ear plugs if you are sensitive to noise (aka snoring)
4) Be prepared to stick together as a group. If you need/want to get back early, this trip is not for you.
5) This is a fun, anything goes, possible last minute change of plan type, fly by the seat of your pants, have lots of fun, event. If you're uptight about stuff, might not be the event for you.

Yoho National Park (exact trail TBC)
