We will trail run The Douglas Fir Trail, a route that goes up and down the escarpment above the Bow River, east of Edworthy Park. This is a short but reasonably strenuous trail with lots of ups and downs. We will go east, get to the Crowchild Trail Bridge and then return the same way. There may be some small variations of the exact route. The pace will allow the group to continue having a conversation while running. Those new to trail running are welcome as we are not speedy.

Distance ~ approx 8 km
elevation ~ approx 200m

We will meet in EDWORTHY PARK on the SOUTH side of the river near where the pathway crosses the train tracks. (OPPOSITE SIDE OF THE RIVER TO ANGELS CAFE. There is a parking lot there.

This event will go snow, rain or shine! We might go for a social nearby after the run.
