Itinerary:
We start from the usual trailhead at Lantern Creek and hike up the Picklejar Lakes trail beside the creek, turn east over a rock spine and down to the 4 lakes. At 3'rd/4'th lake we turn north and hike a scrambly trail up and over a rugged scree pass and late-melting snow conditions permitting down into a cirque on the west side of the Junction Creek headwaters.

We will explore the cirque for a while and then return over the pass to walk around the lakes- enjoy the long daylight hours near the summer solstice.

Trail distance round trip is 16 km
Cumulative elevation gains (if we're able to drop down into the cirque and back) are approximately 950 m

Please note that this coordinator has not done the scree pass/cirque portion of this route but has GPS data, an InReach satellite communicator device and is willing to explore.
