PLEASE NOTE THAT THOSE SIGNED UP FOR THE EVEREST BASE CAMP TREK HAD ADVANCE NOTICE FOR THIS EVENT AS IT IS PART OF THEIR TRAINING.

I will obtain a bivouac permit and we will hike into and camp in the wild. A bivouac permit only allows for a maximum of 10 people in a group and 5 tents. Therefore, you will be required to share a tent with someone. Only those experienced in backcountry camping and can move at a good steady pace will be eligible for this trip. More details can be obtained via email. We will also have a pre-trip meeting.

Carpool Cost: Approximate vehicle expense for this event is $156.00 (calculated at total Km * $0.30, effective Sunday, November 18, 2018). This is based on $0.15/Km for maintenance, plus current gas price divide by 9. Note that drivers with large vehicles have the option to adjust this cost based on their vehicles. Your carpool driver will confirm exactly how much money they require to cover costs. Please split the actual amount among all people in the vehicle and bring some change as drivers are not expected to carry change.
