Friday looks like a good day for rafting! A new rafting company is giving us a discount - $15/person for an individual, fun, easy to manoeuver raft. Portage, life jacket, paddle, transportation shuttle included. We will meet in the parking lot at 50 Avenue/16 Street SW, decide if we want a 10 or 20 minute portage (longer float), have a leisurely float/paddle down the Elbow, stop for a snack, continue to pick up point at Elbow Drive/30 Avenue.

Required Items to Bring:
Ability to paddle your own raft.
Swimming ability
Sandals or waterproof shoes.
Water

How to Get There:

Event Directions:

Park in the parking lot at 50 Ave/16 St. SW, or the #7, #13 bus will get you within walking distance. Look for the bright red,triangle shaped rafts and me. I'll be wearing a black COC volunteer hat.
