Taylor/O'Brien Lakes is a classic Canadian Rockies hike to a couple of beautiful mountain lakes. The larch season is approaching so hopefully we will be treated to some early golden fall colours as well!

We will first hike to Taylor Lake, then after a little break to soak in the sights, we will move on to the side trail to O'Brien Lake. Please note that this side trail gets does not usually receive much in terms of maintenance so expect some deadfall to navigate over/around. We will enjoy our lunch and a well deserved rest stop at the lake. There will be an option to hike up a treed slope beyond the lake to a couple of smaller tarns if time permits.

This trip is best suited to strong hikers who have done hikes this year of similar length and elevation gain. We will hike at a relaxed pace.

I may give priority to those willing to drive
