How to Get There:
Event Directions:From Fish Creek LRT: Drive south again on Macleod Trail & exit out of town on 22 westbound (Marquis of Lorne). If you drive by Spruce Meadows you know that you're heading in the right direction towards Kananaskis. Highway 22 eventually turns into 66. Continue on 66 into Kananaskis Country. We'll re-group at the Powderface Trail Ridge pullout. Do not turn left - you'll end up at the Little Elbow Recreation Area. From this point since there is no signage to indicate the parking lot for the trailhead for Jumpingpound Ridge I will lead the way & everyone can follow me & we will head north on Powderface Trail which is a gravel road for 14.8KM. . Please keep an eye on KM. The trailhead is north of Canyon Creek. The trailhead is a huge pullout on the right hand side of the road.
