This trip is intended for all levels of skiers and boarders. We will do one or two runs together then break up into groups based on similar abilities. Please read below for instructions. We are leaving the Home Rd & Montgomery Ave NW car pool location at 6:45am sharp. Plan to arrive at the carpool location 10 mins early. If you are going to be late, text or call Dave at 403-689-8743 We are gathering on the SECOND FLOOR of the Creekside Pub (restaurant beside the gondola at the base of the mountain) at 8:15 am in order to take the gondola up at 8:30 am . To avoid crowds rather than have a longer break at noon we will stop for 2 shorter breaks at 11;00am and 2:00 pm either at the Day lodge or Goats eye lodge. We will decide which when we meet in the morning. If it is very cold we may decide to meet at the Chimney corner lounge. (If that is the case bagged lunches are not permitted) this will be optional. You may choose to continue skiing or have lunch somewhere else. At the end of the day, we are gathering on the FIRST FLOOR of the Creekside Pub at 4:00 to 4:15pm pm at the base of the mountain before leaving the hill together at 5:00Pm Anyone wishing to have an apre-ski drink at the Creekside pub before returning to Calgary is encouraged to go early but be ready to leave the hill for Calgary at 5:00pm. Adult lift ticket price is $106.00 + GST. If you have the Sunshine discount card, you will get a discount off the base lift ticket price. You may also purchase lift tickets in a 2-pack at Costco for $168.99
A basic ski/snowboard rental package is $47+GST for sport performance gear, $63+GST for high performance gear. It is strongly recommended that you rent gear from the University of Calgary or from a Calgary ski rental shop as it typically is less expensive and can be picked up early in the morning or the evening before. | |||||||
