Itinerary:
Time to get out and ski! This trip is geared for:

** Beginner skiers who have either had an intro lesson, or have been out a few times on their XC skis and want to build their milage.
** Newbies with a solid downhill ski background who want to see what the sport is all about.
** Slow, patient novice skiers who are out to enjoy the day.

If you have never XC skied, and are a non-downhill skier, this is not the trip for you, as there will be no instruction (just maybe some coaching).

Skiers should be comfortable skiing along track-set trails with minor changes in elevation. There will be some short hills, and walking is fine if you aren't comfortable snowplowing. The pace will be slow (3 - 4km per hour) on this out and back trip. Distance will depend upon the group's pace, but it will likely be about 5 or 6 km total.

Depending on how much snow is around and where, there are three options:
West Bragg Creek Recreation Area
Peter Lougheed or Mt. Shark

All the above places have trails suitable and the event will be much the same idea but an extra hour of driving each way will be required for the bottom two options. I will make the call on the Wednesday before and let everyone know where we need to go.
