The Douglas Fir Trail traverses the escarpment above the Bow River, east of Edworthy Park. This is a short but reasonably strenuous trail run with lots of ups and downs. We will run at a moderately brisk pace.

We will meet on the SOUTH side of the river near where the pathway crosses the train tracks. (OPPOSITE side of the river to Angels Cafe). There is a parking lot right beside.

We will run east, do the hike one way and return the same way. Total distance is approx. 7.5 km return. Coffee and a social after the walk is a definite possibility.
