Meet in Baker Park: Park in the main lot and walk south (towards river) to Sun Bowl. We will meet on the pathway above the Sun Bowl

From there, we will walk west along the Bow River, climb the pathway west of Stoney Trail, then loop around to join Bowmont Park.

A short climb will take us to a lookout where we can have short break and snack, then make our way back to Baker Park.

Please note that although a lot of the pathway is clear, there are icy, wet and snow- covered sections. Footwear traction and/or poles are highly recommended. We will be moving at a moderate pace.

How to Get There:
Event Directions:Baker Park:
From the south: Take Bowness Road west to 85 St NW, cross the bridge over the Bow River and take the ramp immediately on your right.
From the north: take Nose Hill Dr NW, turn south on 87 St NW and left on Bearspaw Dam Rd. Take the first ramp on the right after crossing the railway bridge.
Everyone: At the fork in the road, keep to the left and follow the signs to Baker Park.
NOTE: Do NOT follow the sign to the River Access area on the right.

- Note that COC event coordinators are volunteers and not trained guides.
- All participants are responsible for assessing road, weather and trail/pathway conditions.
- We encourage all members to follow our Etiquette Guidelines at all times while participating in COC events.

Make a Payment:$3.00 Event Fee (if applicable) to be paid to your event coordinator. Activity fee, if applicable, (i.e. court fee, bowling fee, camping fee, etc.) to be paid as instructed by your event coordinator.
