Itinerary:
We'll start from the usual trailhead at Lantern Creek Day Use and hike up the Picklejar Lakes trail beside the creek, turn east over a rock spine and down to the 4 lakes. At 3'rd/4'th lake we turn north and hike a scree route (a section of easy scrambling) up and over a rugged scree pass and late-melting snow conditions permitting down into a cirque on the west side of the Junction Creek headwaters.

We can explore the cirque for a while and then return over the pass to walk around the lakes- enjoy the long daylight hours near the summer solstice.

Trail distance round trip is 16 km
Elevation gains to the pass 800 m (if we're able to drop down into the cirque and back then we do approximately 950 m )

Please note that this coordinator has not done the scree pass/cirque portion of this route - although on July 8, 2018 the rest of his group did so - coordinator has GPS data, an InReach satellite communicator device and is willing to explore.
