Itinerary:

*** Date change,,now run is on June 24.. system glitch!! There’s no wait list****I am just getting back into running and I can only run a slow 32 minutes right now. I am starting a Tuesday night "Get back into running group for slow pokes" that either want to get or are running but only at a slow pace.Join me for this easy run around the Bow River at your own pace.
We will be starting the run promptly at 7pm.Starting at the Memorial Drive Stairs (next to the Curling Club), we'll cross the foot bridge to the ramp , turn right, continue along the pathway to cross over the Peace bridge and run the pathway to cross 14th Street bridge - about 5k (or you can run and cross the Crowchild Trail foot bridge - about 8k) and back.Do as much or as little as you want. This is not a competition but for people wanting to start building cardio.

We will meet at Starbucks at the corner of Edmonton trail and Memorial drive for a DECAFF coffee afterwards. Everyone coming strongly encouraged to come out to coffee as well as the run

Required Items to Bring:
- Proper running shoes (no cross trainers)
- Clothing appropriate for the weather: rain, snow or shine.

Event Directions:Meet at the bottom of the stairs leading up to McHugh's Bluff next to the Calgary Curling Club
Memorial Dr & approx 3rd St NW
This is the parking lot EAST of the Curling Club (not the one belonging to the club). Accessed from Memorial Drive, the meeting point is located at the stairs across from Prince's Island Park, north side of Memorial.

NOTE: The Prince's Island Park parking lot (off Memorial Drive) is no longer free after 6pm. It costs up to a max of $2 to park there. Parking on the street is free after 6pm (BUT you need to watch out for streets that require a permit).
