Come join us as the Norseman Ski/Hike Shop will be giving COC members a presentation on lightweight and ultralight backpacking. This session will be well suited to novice and intermediate backpackers.

Topics may include:
-Why go lightweight? Is it for you?
-Taking inventory of your gear
-Making the transition
- Lower cost solutions
- Durability issues
- Examples of lightweight/ultralight products on the market
- Special considerations for the Canadian Rockies

There will be an Q&A after the presentation.

The Norseman is also offering a 10% discount on most items purchased in store on this night.

PLEASE ONLY REGISTER FOR THIS EVENT IF YOU ARE SERIOUS ABOUT ATTENDING. Unreasonable last minute cancellations(4 hours or less prior to event) preventing others from attending the event will be recorded. Thank you for your consideration for other COC members.

Event Directions:At the corner of 37 Street and 46 Ave SW next to Hanni’s Restaurant. Parking is available in front of store. You can also park across the street but must register your plate# at the kiosk
