Itinerary:
From Lady of Assumption

Head west on Hwy 1 and take the Sibbald turnoff, then turn onto Powderface Trail. We'll park at the Lusk pass trailhead.

We'll drop a car at the south end of the trail (Canyon Creek) so we don't have to ride the road on the way back. Unless you want to??

The climb up Lusk Pass (500m) to the ridge starts moderately steep with easy switchbacks and then finishes with a push over the last kilometre.
We'll ride south along the ridge getting a prairie view to the east and a mountain view to the west.
There's a rock garden which is fun (on a full- suspension), and then a descent down a loose, rocky trail.
We'll either ride the road back to the Lusk trailhead (12 kms), or preferably, take a car that we've left there so we don't need to ride the road.

The trail is reasonably rocky so should be ok to ride after all this lovely rain. No guarantees though.

TAIL GATE MUNCHIES. We can stop for a social and tail gate party after the ride. So bring some munchies and a beverage for after the ride.
