Please note that your coordinator has not done this full hike before and so will be unsure of all actual conditions.

IMPORTANT DETAILS:
We will be hiking at a generally MODERATE pace and a SLOW pace uphill.
You must be willing to stick together as a group. If you wish to hike at a fast pace, please do NOT sign up for this hike.
Come prepared for muddy sections on the trail.
Do not be in a rush to get back to Calgary. We will be out to enjoy the day and event duration/return to Calgary may vary.

We will be hiking Boundary Ridge. This is a multi-use trail in the West Bragg Creek area. Your coordinator has only hiked part of this trail before but wants to explore the rest. Hopefully we will find some good viewpoints as we walk up and down the forested ridges.

DIRECTIONS FROM CARPOOL: follow Highway 8 west out of town. At the roundabout at Highway 22, head south towards Bragg Creek. Before the stop sign in Bragg Creek, turn right into Balsam Ave. Go past the mall on your left and after the bridge, turn left at the 3-way stop. Continue for approx. 10 km to the end of the road and you'll reach West Bragg Creek parking lot. Park at the far end of the parking lot on the right hand side.
