This event posting is to see if there is interest for a boating event. We would sail on a 30 to 36 foot sailboat from (1) Comox or Powell River into Desolation Sound or (2) sail from Nanaimo into the Gulf Islands and Howe Sound. The dates are approximate but we'd sail before mid-June to take advantage of off-season rates.

Required Items to Bring:
Personal gear for a week of boating.
Recommended Items to Bring:
Use our Event Checklists to make sure you have everything you need.

As of January there is one Calgary person and one Vancouver Island person committed to the trip. One or two more people would be good. They must be experience big-boat sailors. Each of us would submit a boating resume to the charterer. A Canadian Pleasure Craft Operator Card is preferable.

Waiting List

Sorry, either registration for this event is closed, or the event is full.

BUT you may still have a chance to go. Some volunteers will decide to expand the maximum, or others on the confirmed list will cancel. Don't let a full event keep you from signing up.

If you are a COC Member, you may add yourself to the Waiting List here.
Note that if the event maximum has not been reached, but you are still seeing this box, it is because the maximum was reached at one point and there are already others ahead of you on the list.
