Have you travelled in the last 14 days?
Are you showing any symptoms, been in contact with a confirmed case, or been tested positive at all?
Have you read and understood the current restrictions that are club policy during the COVID-19 situation? These can be found on the Home page of the COC website.

Please answer these questions in the comments or medical section during the sign up process, in addition to signing the waiver. Your coordinator has been instructed to remove you from the event if you do not answer or comply with these questions. Failure to follow the guidelines could result in you being evicted from the event even after it has commenced. Your coordinator has this discretion and you could be reported to the club if you create problems. The COC is attempting to keep all members safe and asks for your respect during these difficult times. If you do not wish to follow these temporary restrictions you should not sign up but are welcome to continue after the restrictions have been removed.

*** Please note that is mostly a steep hike and is best suited to strong hikers as you gain a lot of elevation within a short distance.***

*** Please note the early departure. This is to avoid the crowds at Lake Louise this time of year and to hopefully ensure available parking at the Chateau Lake Louise parking lot.

Mount Fairview provides one of the best viewpoints of Lake Louise and the surrounding mountains. Once on the summit, it seems as if Lake Louise is directly beneath your feet over a kilometer below, for the modest effort expended, it offers some of the best views in the area. From the summit one can see Mt. St-Piran, Niblock, Whyte, Victoria, Temple.

The trail starts near the Lake Louise boat house, climbing gently for 3.7 km (595m elevation gain) to the Saddleback. A well- maintained trail then winds its way up to the summit through a boulder field.

We will stay at the summit for a well-deserved rest while enjoying the beautiful views & the great company!
