Have you travelled in the last 14 days? Are you showing any symptoms, been in contact with a confirmed case, or been tested positive at all? Have you read and understood the current restrictions that are club policy during the COVID-19 situation?

Please answer these questions in the comments or medical section during the sign up process, in addition to signing the waiver. Your coordinator has been instructed to remove you from the event if you do not answer or comply with these questions. Failure to follow the guidelines could result in you being evicted from the event even after it has commenced. Your coordinator has this discretion and you could be reported to the club if you create problems. The COC is attempting to keep all members safe and asks for your respect during these difficult times. If you do not wish to follow these temporary restrictions you should not sign up but are welcome to continue after the restrictions have been removed.

If you've ever wanted to try out winter camping but have not, this will be an easy winter camping event.
Walk in tenting at a designated camp ground means you can bring lots of stuff to try out if you want and not worry about the hassle of having of carrying things in. Basically this is a getaway weekend.
Plan is for an easy weekend mostly with activities around the campfire and cooking. if there is time, maybe a short hike/snowshoe. Maybe muck around with some basic bushcraft, eat lots, sleep overnight and be merry.

NOTES:
- Current forecast as at 2 Nov 2020 is for snow and cold-ish temperatures
- We'll be doing individual tenting unless you're from the same cohort. For meals, it will be individual but you're welcome to bring something to share if you'd like.
- If you'd like to explore the area, bring your own snowshoes/skis.
- Waterproof layers
- Bring a cord of wood for the fire pit to share
Any questions email me.
