If you've ever wanted to try out winter camping but have not, this will be an easy winter-ish backing event. Get in touch with me if you're new to this. If you're a pro, bring the fancy stuff.

Distance: 2-3 km round trip
Elevation: 50m approx

We will hike/snowshoe in to a remote location in south kananaskis foothills.
Basically this is a getaway weekend. Plan is for an easy weekend mostly with activities around the campfire and cooking. if there is time, maybe a short hike/snowshoe to the surrounding area. Eat lots, sleep overnight and be merry.

NOTES:
- As of 2 Nov 2020, forecasted overnight temps are about -5c and clear. This may change. - We'll be doing individual tenting unless you're from the same cohort.
- For meals, it will be individual but you're welcome to bring something to share if you'd like. Adult beverages are welcome.
- This is an anything goes, fun weekend. If you're uptight about stuff, might not be the event for you.
- Might need snowshoes (RBC)
- No carpool unless you can be in the same cohort
Any questions email me.
