Please answer the following questions in the comments section during the sign-up process, in addition to signing the waiver:

  • Have you travelled in the last 14 days?

We will start and end at the Peter Lougheed Visitor Centre (aka Peter Lougheed Park Discovery & Information Centre). Note that you must wear a mask inside the Visitor Centre. Carpooling is not permitted.

This event is best suited for novice- intermediate skiers and you need to be able to snowplow gentle hills.  The plan is to do an 8 km loop:  Meadow- Woolley-Amos-Braille.  Please see map here from Skier Bob

We can split the group by speed / ability and possibly distance, if people want.  Racers need not apply, unless they are willing to loop out and back and patiently wait for the group.

Parking pass: To support grooming operations, Nordiq Alberta is selling day and season passes to park at trail head parking lots in Kananaskis Country. Revenue from sales will pay for grooming costs. You can click on this link to "Purchase Your Ski Pass"
