Questionnaire:
Bowness Lagoon Skate #52
The Lagoon offers plenty of free parking and a nice large wooden deck complete with gas fire pits and comfortable seating for putting on your skates. In addition you'll find heated washrooms, a restaurant, snack bar and skate rental kiosk on site. Unfortunately, the snack bar and rental kiosk are typically closed weekday evenings so you should rent skates elsewhere if required. This is a "drop in" style event so regardless of whether you like to skate for 20 minutes or 2 hours you are more than welcome to register. Upon arrival you will find me on the main deck area until about 7:15pm. If you arrive later than that you'll find me out on the ice somewhere in my Santa Hat! Skate Rental Suggestions: U of C Outdoor Centre located at the Faculty of Kinesiology, University of Calgary, 2500 University Drive N.W. OR Sports Rent located at 4424 16th Avenue NW (about 10 minute drive from Bowness Park). NOTE: Hockey sticks are not permitted on the lagoon. | |||||||
