The Lake Minnewanka Loop is closed to vehicles Monday to Thursday from May 1 to 20th. Let's get out there and check it out! It's 13km around. You can do it once if you like, or, what we will probably do is do it once one way around, and then, after a break/snack we'll turn around and do it again the other way around.

This will be a relaxed-pace, low-to-no- pressure event. Come on out and have a good time. If you've "had enough" after just a little bit, there's no shame in turning around. At least you saw some mountains!

Required Items to Bring:
- A bike
- Helmet **No Exceptions**
- Gloves
- Snacks
- Water
- Tire repair kit, at least 1 spare tube. A chain repair kit suitable for the chain on your bike
- The proper clothing for the day, either wet or dry
Canada Parks pass or $$ for park entry
Recommended Items to Bring:

How to Get There:
Event Directions:From Calgary, drive West on Highway 1 to the Lake Minnewanka exit. I don't know what they'll have set up for parking, but I expect it to be a gong show. We'll do our best to be as visible as possible, and for your convenience, to find us, first find Nemo (our Toyota Yaris painted to look like Nemo the clownfish). Keep my cell number handy just in case, although I'm not sure we have cell coverage out there.
