Its spring and many pathways seem to be clear of snow now. I need to drag my bike out of hibernation so this ride will be an easy ride suitable for others also starting the season or fairly new to riding.

We'll meet and head out for a couple of hours riding, exploring the pathways to the north. If there's interest we can stop for refreshments somewhere during the ride or after. I don't think we are allowed to do bar patios but maybe ice cream outdoors at a fast food joint. It'll depend on how many people and interest.

Being an exploratory wander we can swing back near the start to allow an early finish for anyone choosing or continue south along the Nose Creek pathway for more km's.

This will be a relaxed pace event with a flexible schedule, and a sociable way to ride and spend a morning. The goal is to ride 20-30km.

There is a little elevation change from the start location depending on just where we wander and it is almost all city pathway with shorter sections of road. Most of the area seems to be free of snow now.

We will be staying together as a loose group and regroup periodically if we get spaced out. From the parking a new bridge leads us over Nose Creek and onto the Nose Creek pathway.
