A leisurely sunset cycle around the Glenmore Reservoir on what is forecast to be a gorgeous evening.

The total distance is approximately 18km and will likely take us about 1.5 hours to complete at a casual sightseeing pace.

Riders of all abilities are welcome and newbies to this area are sure to enjoy the sights throughout the tour. The pace will be relaxed yet steady with a few short stops at key view points along the way. The terrain is mostly paved pathway with the exception of a couple brief stints along some quiet city side streets. For the most part the grade is easy but there are a few short hills as well.

We will cover lots of sites as we wind our way counter clockwise from Heritage Park, behind the Rockyview General Hospital (very nice lookout point here), over the Glenmore Dam, past Lakeview Golf Course, Earl Grey Golf Club and Calgary Canoe Club, through North Glenmore Park, the Weaslehead Nature Area, South Glenmore Park, past Glenmore Sailing School and finally Glenmore Landing where those interested can stop for a refreshment or ice cream treat before heading home :)
