Participation in this event is conditional upon attendee compliance with BCT. Restrictions: If you have COVID-19, COVID-19-like symptoms, or may have COVID-19 due to a recent exposure, you are expected to withdraw from this event and stay home. We will be more than happy to see you at another event once it is considered safe for you to do so! Failure to comply with this requirement may result in removal from this event and/or future events.

Detail: Duties can included brush clearing, pruning, tread building and tread finishing. You will need to sign-up on the Bragg Creek Volunteer Website to join. This needs to be done at least 4 days prior to the even to ensure your approval from them. Register Here with BCT
For the month of October work will be carried out on Tom Snow-North and Kestrel, with duties to included brush clearing, pruning, tread building

NOTE that Bragg Creek Trails requires proof of vaccination in order to access their calendar and events, prior to registering with them.

Please put your name on the waiting list. As soon as I receive your confirmation that you've registered for the event with BCT, I will move you to the attendee list.

Required Items to Bring:
Sturdy, ankle high footwear with hiking tread
Lunch or Snacks
Clothing for variable weather and to be there all day.
Hand sanitizer
Toque/Gloves or Mitts

Note that even though their website says you need a bike for this event, I have confirmed that you do NOT need one this time

How to Get There:

From Calgary, take Hwy 22 south to Bragg Creek. Before the round about in Bragg Creek turn right (Balsam Ave). Take Balsam Ave for ~500 meters to T-intersection. Left onto Centre Ave (turns into Township Road 232). 10km until West Bragg Creek trailhead. Parking lot on the right hand (North) side of the road.
