*** ***

Fullerton Loop is an easy hike in the beautiful K- Country. The plan is to undertake this hike at a relaxed pace I am bringing my 11 year old Husky cross,,ha ha. She does good in the fall. We will stop to catch our breath when needed

You are welcome to bring your dog if they are well behaved and able to do the hike. Leashes are mandatory.**BEAR SPRAY Immediately accessible is Mandatory** (Came face to face with a grizzly in September as I had forgot my bear spray and couldn't purchase any at the hill"

We will be hiking the loop counter clockwise, therefore going up the moderate side and down the more steep section. At this time hiking footwear with good tread should suffice, but be prepared to pack icers / traction devices if Calgary rain showers fall as snow or mixed precipitation in the foothills. The event will go ahead as planned unless there is a heavy rainfall warning for the area, dangerous road conditions or cold weather temperatures below -25c The temperature this day is supposed to be around -1C on this day

hiking boots / trail shoes with good tread
bear spray
appropriate clothing
Kananaskis Conservation Pass

Follow the Trans-Canada Highway (Hwy 1) to Highway 22, follow Highway 22 south through Bragg Creek, turning left at the 4-way stop. At the Highway 66 Junction, turn right and follow Highway 66. The parking area is on the right, across from the Allen Bill Day Use area - you'll see the signs after you cross the Elbow River bridge. We will meet in the parking area near the cars at Noon, ready to hike. I will be in a Toyota Highlander, beige with a roof carrier.

If you are running late, please text before you start driving. If you arrive after we've left, please do not attempt to hike out alone to catch up with us.
