This event has been changed to a online Zoom Meeting.

I created this information night to gage interest for a backpack trip to the Grand Canyon in mid-April of 2022. The trail would be the Escalante Trail. This trail is widely seen as one of the best in the canyon but is also rugged and difficult. Trip would be around 55km over 5 days with significant elevation gains and losses.

The trip would be better suited to the more experienced/advanced backpacker and may involve easy to moderate scrambling. It is also best suited to those who follow lightweight backpacking practices. This will not be a first come/first serve trip but offered to those who possess appropriate fitness, skills and positive attitude.
